• Senior & Junior Category: Rp. 450.000 (USD. 40)
• Ensamble Category: Rp. 300.000 (USD. 25)

Competition Rules & Regulation

• Senior Category:
  • No age limit
  • Elimination round 11 August 2016, solo playing time allowed 7 minutes minutes (can be more than 1 pieces).
  • 15 semifinalist will perform in Semifinal round 13 August 2016, solo playing time allowed 12 minutes minutes (can be more than 1 pieces)
  • 7 finalist will perform in Final round 14 August 2016, solo playing time allowed 15 minutes (can be more than 1 pieces)
  • All pieces should be different in each round.
  • Exceeding the time limits will lead to disqualification.
• Junior Category:
  • Age not over 15 years old on 1 August 2016.
  • 1st prize winner of Junior Category of Valerio Guitar Competition I, II & III can not join in Junior Category, you should apply in Senior Category.
  • Only one round (final round) on 13 August 2016, solo playing time allowed 8 minutes minutes (can be more than 1 pieces).
  • Exceeding the time limits will lead to disqualification.
  • Participant of Junior Category can join the senior category.
• Ensamble Category:
  • No age limit
  • Only guitar instrument in a group.
  • A group is duo, trio or quartet.
  • One player allowed to play more than one performance with other groups.
  • Only one round (final round) on 12 August 2016, playing time allowed 10 minutes minutes (can be more than 1 pieces).
  • Exceeding the time limits will lead to disqualification.
  • Applicant should mention all the pieces for each round in Application Form. The pieces can be changed before registration closing on 20 July 2016. Any changes after closing date are not acceptable.
  • The programme of the solo competition performance must be memorised.
  • The organizer will prepare 1 chair and 1 footstool for solo performance and 4 chair for ensamble.
  • Ensamble contestants have to prepare footstool and music stand by theirself.
  • Only classical guitar with nylon strings are allowed for all categories.
  • The organizer will determined the performance order by random drawing.
  • The International Jury from various countries with established reputation in music.
  • The Organizers may at any time call for new jury members to take part in the Jury or subtitute the existng members.
  • All competitiors must accept the decisions of the Jury, regarding the awarding of prizes.
  • All stages of the competition will be recorded. Participants agree to waive any recording and/or photos rights in or any media, during any aspect of the competition and consent to the unlimited and unrestricted use of theeir name and image in any format or media for use by the festival committee.

Festival Package is compulsory for international contestant:

• USD. 110 (Competition fee is not included). Including all concerts, one masterclass and observer for masterclasses.
• Masterclass (30 minutes): Rp.400.000 (USD. 40)/class.
• Concert ticket: Rp.40.000 (USD. 5)
• Registration will be closed in 20 July 2016.
